- Description
- VATA – the principle of movement Vata is the dosha responsible for the nervous system, breathing and all kinds of movement in the body. The elements of ether (space) and air are associated with the Vata dosha. Balanced Vata makes you feel full of energy, happy, enthusiastic and creative; the mind is calm, clear and alert. --- Vata: Quality Sleep • Supple Skin • Proper Elimination Vata governs all movement in the mind and body. It controls blood flow, elimination of wastes, breathing and the movement of thoughts across the mind. Since Pitta and Kapha cannot move without it, Vata is considered the leader of the three Ayurvedic Principles in the body. It's very important to keep Vata in good balance. - See more at: http://www.mapi.com/ayurvedic-knowledge/doshas/vata.html#sthash.wgm0T9dn.dpuf
