Six Systems of Indian Philosophy
- Knowledge is true only when it is acceptable in the light of each of the six systems of Indian philosophy. The truth of every statement in the Bhagavad-Gita can be tested in this way. In the appendix of, "Maharishi Mahesh Yogi on the Bhagavad-Gita: A new translation and commentary with Sanskrit text, chapters 1-6," published by Penguin Books, 1969, Maharishi systematically describes Nyaya, Vaisheshika, Sankhya, Yoga, Karma Mimansa, and Vedanta, and all the individual aspects of each system.
